T-Mobile G1: Android shows the first gaps?

Very few days have passed since the official launch of the U.S.
T-Mobile G1, the first phone in the world to claim the title
the "Google Phone" as Android, which as you know is your system
operational, is the new product of the "big G".
Presentation in great style and good interest from
American people: in short, we launch the new product was
positive although not at the levels of what happened at the launch of
the first phone Apple iPhone. Users are enthusiastic
this new product, even if the first bug that seem to appear
of great importance: it seems that many owners of T-Mobile
G1 fail to receive their E-Mail.
This issue we have learned curiosity about Forum T-Mobile USA hoping to understand something more about this new phone that knows when (perhaps ever) will officially available in Italy. So do not allow users to access, through program dedicated to your mailbox (both it POP3 or IMAP4): This happens with any provider and not with one in particular.
If this problem affects all ISPs that offer a box E-Mail, this generalization can be made on the system Android operating in the T-Mobile G1. In fact, what we read on the forum, the problem affects most users of the T-Mobile G1, but not all. One could think of a sort of "Inability" on the part of many people to configure your E-Mail account on T-Mobile G1, but the percentage is too high think its a programming problem.
All this seems to have put in agitation T-Mobile because the spread of this problem, which currently lacks a solution, might take much buying more of what the crisis financial world is already doing. A representative of T-Mobile intervened directly on the forum by writing that the company has taken note of the problem and a solution will be sought as priorities.
We will keep informed about the whole affair, but was quiet: if ever the T-Mobile G1 will arrive in Italy this problem is already resolved long ago.
